NANUK 935 Lid Organizer

Love Nanuk cases (best in hard cases in the business) and hardcases.ca is a pleasure to deal with.

Wanted some lid organisers for softer odds & sods for our 935s that would take up the bare minimum space possible as our cameras are (by our choice) a snug fits in the 935s. Would readily deal with again.

As of now, 2 lid organizers are available for the 935. I went with the Refuge organizer as it appeared to take up less depth in the lid than the Nanuk version. The organizer comes with the requisite mounting hardware but you'll need a small head screwdriver as you have to pass through the mesh to install the screws. The organizer is recessed into the lid and allows the foam that usually sits in the lid to fit back over the organizer (although this isn't shown in any illustrations on the Hardcases website). This is with the organizer not full of stuff, but it does rob you of a small amount of internal height. Maybe a thinner piece of foam would be appropriate if you really need the space. I think that a few (taller) lenses that I would normally place upright are now safer lying down, although that's only a supposition on my part. For now the Refuge holds my spare batteries, filters, assorted cords and a lens cleaning kit. Overall, a worthwhile accessory for this case.

I bought the mesh lid organizer to save money compared to the plastic pockets version. It was simple to install - just 4 small screws. It fits perfectly in the lid and provides space for small camera accessories and cables. The mesh is plenty strong and the holes are small enough that my gear doesn't poke or fall out. A good addition to my 935 case.

Very good Case. I used that one for travelling my tool from Canada to US by plane and everything is good. I love that case , it's very strong and with the TSA lock it's easy at the custom and to bring my tools safe everywhere. Thanks

It fit the case perfectly and the pouches had more room than I thought they would. I also found the mesh material to be stronger and of better quality than it appeared in photos, so pleasantly surprised. Very happy with the lid organizer.

The Lid organizer makes so much sense. It’s surprising how much strorage room is in the lid with this organizer. It’s actually the reason that I chose this case over Pelican.

Love this. It works great for small accessories, wires, etc. I do like the added cushion from the existing foam, though the organizer helps keep loose items together and not fall out every time I'm on the move.
